Dr. Alan Sokoloff (Dr. Sok)

Alan Sokoloff, DC, DACBSP is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa and the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Dr.
Sokoloff is on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Chiropractic
Association, and an active member of the American Chiropractic Association,
American Council on Exercise and Council on Sports Injuries and Physical
Fitness. He is a published presenter and educator of ergonomics, sports and
health. Dr. Sokoloff is the first doctor in Maryland to achieve Diplomat
status of the Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians. Throughout the year,
Dr. Sok is involved in speaking events all over the country. Dr. Sok was
awarded the prestigious 2005 American Chiropractic Board of Sports
Physicians Chiropractor of the Year Award.
Dr. Sok is the team chiropractor for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. He was also
a member of the USA Olympic Sports Medicine Team for the 1999 Pan American
Games. Dr. Sok was selected as one of four chiropractors in the country to
serve an internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado
Springs during the summer of 1997. He also served as part of the medical
staff at the 1998 Goodwill Games in New York City. Finally, Dr. Sok is a
member of the University of Maryland Baltimore County Sports Medicine staff
where has practiced since 1991. Dr. Sok worked with the Baltimore Orioles AA
team, the Bowie Baysox.
