MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS LINK

First on your checklist is a computer. To take full advantage of the interactivity of the courses, click the above link.

Note: Courseware cannot be accessed using Web TV. Accessibility is also limited with America Online (AOL), Prodigy, and CompuServe.

Second on your checklist is an Internet Service Provider (ISP). An ISP is a company that can provide you with the software necessary for going onto the Internet. You will need Internet access to take your courses.

Third on your list is an email account. Your email address is established when you sign up with an ISP. Check with your ISP if you do not know what your email address is. Check out Yahoo! Mail or MSN Hotmail for information on these two free email providers.

Fourth on your list is a Java capable browser. Downloads for the newest browser versions are free of charge. To upgrade your browser to the latest version on the market, click on the appropriate link below. Wondering if your browser meets the specs? Take the Browser Test above to find out.

 More Browser Test Information

You will need certain tools to take advantage of all the features your online university has to offer.

To make sure that you -- and your web browser -- have the tools necessary to complete your courses, we've created the Browser Test to check for the following required components:

  • Cookies
  • Java™
  • JavaScript
  • The RealPlayer®
  • Shockwave Flash™

Now it's time to test your browser and ensure that it supports each component that you need. If for any reason you need to download or update your software, you'll have a chance to do that at the end of the test.
